ShoWest is now under new management and has been renamed CinemaCon.  The venue also changed from the Paris Casino to Ceasars - an improvement because things were a little less spread out.

CinemaCon has a split personality - it is aimed at the Exhibitors (Theater owners) - and in doing so, it covers many different areas.  Part of it is about technology, part is about popcorn, part is about new movie titles.

3D continues to show up in new forms, and new products and technologies were found in this year's conference.  If you are interested in 3D Entertainment - click here
